Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series. Before we dive into our discussion about networking, our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. Can you share with us the backstory about what brought you to your specific career path?

I’ve been in corporate for almost 26 years, starting in pharmaceuticals, then chemical coatings, and the last eleven years in technology as a CMO. I didn’t have a master plan to start a skincare company; I started having problems with my skin in my early 40’s, and since I’ve used professional skincare for most of my life, I couldn’t figure out what was going on. After many trips to different dermatologists and estheticians, I started doing my own research (this was almost 10 years ago) and ordered some single ingredients and started mixing them in my home, trying to see what was causing the rashes and bumps — which were not acne. Fast forward to 2018, I hired a cosmetic chemist to help and I had two products that I began using myself. Those two products, by the way, are now Eonian Strength & Structure. Family, friends and coworkers complimented me on my skin and I started giving out samples, and so many of them loved the simplicity and were so happy with the results that I decided to start Eonian.
