Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series. Before we dive into our discussion about networking, our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. Can you share with us the backstory about what brought you to your specific career path?

I have always had an interest in skin from the time I was little, and I can thank my father for that. His appearance was important to him and he was always trying new products, with me right beside him trying them too. I did not pick esthetics right away. I was going into nursing but there were a lot of changes happening in health care at the time, impacting the time nurses got to spend with patients — the part I loved the most. I wanted to work more with the people, not less, so when my husband and I moved to Colorado, I took the opportunity to change pathways moving into esthetics.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started your career?

I am not sure what my most interesting story is, but I will share my most moving. I had a long-time guest who used to bring her sister in once a year when she was in town. I noticed her neck was enlarged at one visit while performing her facial. It just didn’t seem right, so I let her know and recommended that she…
