Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series. Before we dive into our discussion about networking, our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. Can you share with us the backstory about what brought you to your specific career path?

As a professional equestrian and amateur tennis player, I was the victim of hormonal acne throughout my teens and early 20s. The pain of the acne itself, plus the stigma of being “dirty” can negatively affect your psyche. Although I had worked with a few top dermatologists with only temporary relief, a friend suggested that I see her aesthetician. We simplified everything to do with my topical skincare, focused on working with my Gynecologist to balance my hormones, I revamped my hydration habits and nutritional balance and continued to receive monthly facials. Toward the end of a year of working together, I suddenly realized that I had just finished my menstrual cycle and didn’t have a breakout! This was HUGE for me. The feeling when I looked in the mirror is one that I will never forget. I knew from that first non-breakout month, when I was ready to retire from my first career, professional aesthetics was my next path.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started
